Yes, write under assumption Megas is still from the future. Even though the modern day already has giant robots in SRWU but don't worry about the details.

A follow-up question, what about the rebelling Earth force in the future? Will it be the one in Megas, one from SRW, or do I leave the Earthlings fighting the Glorft vague and unnamed?

I guess a more broad question I could just ask is this: Does anything at all in Megas XLR canon need changing to fit SRWU?

Relatedly, how do I treat Megas' ridiculous convenient plot tech and weapons? Do I list mostly main stuff and only have others pop up with mod permission? One example might be the stuff Coop was working on to pilot Megas without the control module, which he only used once when Jamie was borrowing the car. Basically one-shot equipment and/or weapons.

Yes, leave the rebels vague. Regarding the whole canon, it should be vague if it is "our" future as in the future of SRWU's verse, or just an alternate universe future.

List weapons that Megas used in canon, while others are either upgrades that you post on the Upgrade Request page, or one off things that you do once on a mission and, just in case, check that the running mod is fine with.

Thanks very much! I'll keep all of this in mind, then. Megas will just start with mainly its basic, most-used weapons for now. I can deal with the more obscure stuff happening later.
