If you have questions, questions of any kind but in particular:
-Anything related to the game's rules
-Anything related to the game's setting
-Asking whether a canon (normal or original) or a character idea you have and want to app is app'able into the game
Here is the thread to ask! Anyone can post, not just community members, so knock yourselves out and if there's anything the mod team can help with, don't be shy. Ask away.

He's an OC from Hawken. The game's backstory and setting have been laid out in a series of graphic novels called Hawken: Genesis.
Basic premise is—it's 2467(ish) and takes place on Illal, a distant planet that had been terraformed and colonized. Corporate wars led to the release of a nano-virus that is slowly consuming the biosphere, and the United Terran Authority has quarantined the planet to prevent its spread.
The two remaining megacorporations on Illal are now fighting over the remaining resources on Illal as well as a byproduct of the nano-virus, Vitrolium, which has proven to be an extremely potent fuel source. Given the UTA quarantine, they're forced to repurpose civilian and scavenged technology into military hardware.
How would that mesh with SRWU? I've never actually played a single Super Robot Wars game, so I have no idea how they pulled off the crazy "everything goes" crossover plots.

1. It's an alternate universe. A TSEN (teleporter) malfunction sends player characters there, and following that a stable nexus is built that allows for two-way communication. This allows the canon to be intergrated with a smallest number of changes. But on the other hand, "alternate universe" may seem like an easy way out especially if you want integration with others.
2. We limit the canon to a local scale, and it takes place on Earth. The nanovirus was released in a single region, for example a part of Australia or South America. Since then, that place is a quarantined "dead zone", but inside the dead zone two corporations are still active, and they're still fighting.
