[A message is coming though to the Unity Group! ID unknown and not coming from any established bases, things still fall into place the moment visual comes in... revealing one of Ren's kin. The first one we met, actually: Bao.]
Been a while, hasn't it? Word is that you've caught up with the Unity Group, Ren. no doubt helping see to rainbows and fields of flowers spread in their wake. But you know... the funny thing is, the more things change, the more they stay the same! And if you need a reminder of how things were when we last met-
[Suddenly the camera pans up, giving a better view of Bao's surroundings. The high ceiling, girders, and spacious interior are indicative of a warehouse, but the real thing of note is the hostages. A lot of hostages... with the view lingering on them long enough that everyone can see that one of them was in fact Mark; the guy who Ren had been developing a relationship with. He's seen better days judging by the bruises and cuts on his face. But the focus shifts back to Bao, his eyes flashing with a victorious fury.]
-Does that suffice? I was even thinking of picking up where I'd left off with you and... I think his name was Mark? Certainly took some beating to even get that out of him. And I imagine all your friends will be able to trace this message for that matter, but so much the better! If you want any of these people living to see their loved ones again, it'd be in your best interest to get here soon.
