Important notes
-The ones responsible for stealing power from all over the world turn out to be a group of evil transforming humanoid robots, the Decepticons! Unfortunately they got off with cubes of Energon, but we managed to discover their identity which was the mission objective, so it's a success nevertheless.
-Fortunately, the Decepticons' long-time enemies and, since their arrival on Earth, humanity's allies Autobots have revealed themselves. Under the leadership of Optimus Prime, they will work with Unity Group.
-Speaking of revelations, the secret Japanese 2nd Division Mobile Disaster Response Corps is a thing that exists and is able of actually combatting the Noise. Its agents, Kanade Amou and Tsubasa Kazanari will work with Unity Group for a while. Also its commander can apparently bring down buildings with his bare hands holy crap.
-The power plant where the fight took place was completely destroyed. Oops! At least no one died and all workers were saved, somehow.
-Banjou's Daughtress was totally wrecked. Fortunately there's many more where that one came from.
The mission Booby Trap is set to take place at 6:30 Central today.

Room for one more if anyone wants in.

Didn't you know? Getter Robo casts come in threes!

Eric, who plays Njall, now also plays Musashi Tomoe, AKA the fat one. He'll be ICly introing a little bit later than the other two, but when he does, he'll be VERY excited to be here. Musashi's interests are food, judo, food, being a hero who saves the day, Getter Robo, food, and Getter Robo. Because everyone who pilots that thing ends up at least somewhat obsessed with it.

I played Ryouma in SRWUG, and Hayato in SRWUGA, so this completes my perfect Getter Hat Trick. +10 points for me.
Well as of the last mission, Optimus and his merry band are here.

But wait, it gets better.

You see I had a hilarious idea involving the many spare mecha in our hangar and Wheeljack.

If anyone wishes to have a customized mook mecha to keep just in case your original ride is still in the shop, Wheeljack will be happy to help you pimp yo ride.

Just remember though, 9/10 times he does science, things go horribly, horribly wrong. With the percentage getting worse with more complicated ideas. Yes. Worse than 90% failure rate.

If anyone is interested in the sheer chaos that this will involve, give a yell here or bug me about it later.

Hey, chumps and chumpettes. Those of you who were in the original SRWUG know this, but I'm Ethan, and I like Getter Robo. That's why my first character here (I'm still working on Shinji, keep your shirts on) is Ryoma Nagare: a dedicated, well-adjusted young soccer player with no wait he's not from the Toei anime.

Ryoma punches dinosaurs! He also punches other things. Really he just likes punching? Way too much? Just try not to make eye contact.

He'll be introing IC when the plot starts, so until then: ORRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Kami here bringing a third character / second canon, Hayato Jin from Getter Robo! He's kind of a psycho (more so than most Getter pilots), but don't worry, he mellows out a lot once he has dinosaurs to punch instead of people! He likes drills, going fast, long walks in the moonlight, and other people's blood. I have a permissions post for him if you have concerns.

OPEN GET!
The mission Booby Trap... sorta happened, circumstances getting really weird in the end but Earth is safe for another day.  The log can be read here.

Important Notes
- Another alien race has introduced themselves to the Earth Sphere.  Although we technically shot first, Hetepheres has stated this race is extremely violent and a bitter enemy of the Gebians, and we would've had to fight them anyways.  They're made up of giant humans and even though their machines are individually pretty frail, their numbers and the firepower their warships possess mean they're another serious threat.  The aliens have since retreated but we'll have to be on guard for when they return.
- The SDF Macross, due to malfunctioning equipment, is stranded near Uranus along with South Ataria Island and its population.  Fortunately, the TSEN teleporters onboard provide the Unity Group a means of transporting pilots, supplies, and machines to and from the ship.  The jury's still out on transporting the civilians though.
- Gipsy Danger's going to need repairs to its back and right arm, along with minor repairs to its feet.  Marshal Pentecost'll probably be glad it's not just gone up in smoke though.
