As announced earlier, we are scheduling a test mission - so that people who are not familiar with the game's mission format can experience firsthand how do they work.
Here are the details:
-The mission is pre-emptively scheduled for Friday April 11th, 7 PM CDT (Central Daylight Time). If you want to participate, please respond below and say if this time is good for you - and if not, feel free to suggest alternatives.
-There are no limits of how many people can participate in the mission. You do not need to sign up for it either (though you are welcome to do so, so we can judge interest), just join it when the time comes. Feel free to leave it mid-mission as well if real life obligations get in the way. The mission's goal is to familiarize yourself with the format.
-The mission will use two AIM chatrooms - srwuooc for ooc communication and srwumissiontest for in-character action. When the mission starts, please join these rooms to participate, or ask the mission runner (Cubey) for an invite. It's also suggested for participants to be on the ooc chatroom at least 10-15 minutes before the start of the mission.
-You don't have to be a player who already joined the game to participate. Anyone is free to join, as either an in-character participant/combatant or just an ooc spectator.
-For the mission, you can bring any character as long as they fit thematically into the game. It does not have to be a character who was approved or even app'ed yet. Just bring whomever you want. Do note that the mission runner might ask you for a short description of your unit's capabilities if it's an OC or something from an obscure canon.
-In-character, it is assumed that your characters are all members of Unity Group or close allies who were nearby and are there to assist when one of the bases suddenly comes under attack. It is a simple setup and a simple mission, so don't expect much in the way of plot twists. The mission won't count as canon for the proper game, it's after all only a "test" one.
-You are encouraged to read our guide to missions if you want to participate, but if something is unclear or you have questions during the mission, then don't worry and just ask them on the ooc chat.
If you want to participate, please respond below, with your preferred dates if the suggested one doesn't fit your schedule. I hope to see you there.
