Some things I have in mind for a canon, that it'd be good to have confirmed as viable:
An independent space colony with a fairly high tech level. Direct neural interfaces and/or cyberbrains, a la Ghost in the Shell. Human-made AI that's not quite at the level of fitting into a human-sized body.
