SRWU is not an IM based game, rather we are community-based. This means you can find IC posts in the RP Community, then there are also missions which are run live using AIM.
Best thing to see how comm roleplaying works like is to read some of the posts that other players put there. The top level post is like a setup for a scene, and when someone responds to this post, it starts a thread - a conversation (though it often includes actions and not just dialogue) that exists independently of other threads in the same post.
